An old Scottish ballad, ‘The Young Tamlane’, extracted from Child’s English and Scottish Ballads of 1857. Copy number ‘1’ is offered in a specially-made tartan portfolio at £200.

Printed on a Vandercook proof press. 50 copies (20 for sale) bound by the printer in full dark blue cloth, price £50. A posthumous collection of sixteen poems by Johnson, who is better known as a miniature-painter. The book was designed by Christopher Wilson of Oberphones.
