Castro’s narrative poem relates the biography and thought of Moses Maimonides (1135-1204), considered one of the most important Jewish theologians of all time. The print references the architecture and tile work of medieval Middle East synagogues in areas where Maimonides lived before his exile. Castro, poet laureate of St Louis and a leader of the literary community, died in 2008.

That written, the Optima Nova Pro has an extended character set that the metal never had.
