Lancaster Heritage Press Museum raising funds

This just in from Pennsylvania:
We are asking you to help us spread the word about an online fundraising site.
The Lancaster Heritage Press Museum and The .918 Club are raising funds to finish the Heritage Press Education Center for the preservation and promotion of letterpress printing and the book arts. We hope you have heard about the Lancaster Heritage Press Museum a recreated 1920’s era print shop where we preserve the history of printing by demonstrating the printing process on our preserved presses. We host many visitors including students who come to learn about print history. However our space is limited and there is a demand for hands-on learning such as our Scout’s Graphic Merit Badge program. We have the equipment, the members with the skills and a building generously made available to us by Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology. Now we need help to finish the renovations and set up the center so we can have share the experience through workshops for letterpress, papermaking and book arts.
We are using online fund raising site to fund the next steps in our renovations to add to the grants and donations we have already raised. Our online target is $40,000 and we have various levels of rewards starting at just $10. There are also special rewards at $250 and $500 for workshops from our friends at Typothecary Letterpress Studio in Lancaster, PA and Lead Graffiti Studio in Newark, DE. To donate simply go to our website and select the button “Support us here” which will link you directly to the fund raising site.
For more information about our building fund also go to our website building fund page at 918 Club Building Fund.
Thank you in advance for your help in making the Heritage Press Education Center a reality.
