Does it seem to you that the folks in Boston are a tad spoiled with all the private-press and fine-printing activity in that neck of the woods? (Mental note: perhaps Parenthesis should spotlight Massachusetts fine printing in a forthcoming issue. . . .) At any rate, from April 30 through May 1, the Massachusetts and Rhode Island Antiquarian Booksellers are sponsoring a book fair in Boston. While the bulk of dealers will be antiquarian, Michael Russem of Kat Ran Press will be manning a table to pass out FPBA (and APHA) literature and to show and offer/sell fine-press books—from his own and from other presses. Mark your calendars now.
