If you are a private press and have a new book that you would like to be listed
in the next issue of Parenthesis, and/or announced to FPBA members via the
FPBA e-newsletter, and/or listed in the Private Libraries Association's annual
bibliography Private Press Books, you can use this form to send us the details
and/or to offer a copy for review.
Please read the following instructions first.
Books are eligible for inclusion in the Private Libraries Association's
annual bibliography Private Press Books
if they are printed by hand using letterpress or other relief processes
(lithography and intaglio printing are admitted in a few special cases only).
Books will be listed under the names of printers, rather than those of
publishers (if different). Presses which do not print books in the English
language are not eligible, although those which print some English texts may
submit details for all their books, regardless of language. Books with fewer
than eight printed pages are generally excluded, although smaller pieces of
particular importance, or forming part of a larger series, are sometimes
admitted.
Please complete the
'Your Press' section in full. Then, if you have just one book to report,
complete the 'Your Book' section, and click the SUBMIT button at the end. If you
have further books to report, navigate back to this form, fill in just your press name again
in the 'Your Press' section, complete the
details for the next book, and then click on SUBMIT. Repeat for each further
book you wish to report.
The Small Print. The FPBA provides
this as a free service to FPBA members. Others are welcome to post to this
site, and may or may not be listed as space is available. We shall endeavour to
transcribe your
description accurately and use it verbatim. We cannot guarantee publication.
