Plunging

Tuesday, August 25th, 2009

The latest title from Midnight Paper Sales (and I believe the eighth title in the “Little Book Series”) is Plunging, a poem by Edwidge Danticat. I’d link to further information (and provide an image), but unfortunately it’s not mentioned on the Midnight Paper Sales website yet. However, I will note that the title page is very different from what one might expect from a Gaylord Schanilec book, and there are two wood engravings with a brighter, tropical palette (in keeping with the setting of the poem) that is also, I think, a divergence from the often earthier colors of Gaylord’s previous work. Interested? See the Midnight Paper Sales orders page for information on how to get a copy.
