The 40th Whittington Summer Show: September 5, 2009
On the afternoon of Saturday 5th September the Whittington Press will hold its annual open day, coinciding as usual with the Whittington Summer Show. Several other presses, a marbler, a typefounder, a bookseller and a paper merchant will also be showing their wares. The Whittington Press will be showing off its latest publications.
As the poster shows, there will be other attractions as well, including a fun dog show and scurry, crafts, flowers, garden produce, dancing and music.
Whittington is 5 miles east of Cheltenham [or 40 miles west of Oxford], just off the A40.
