Toronto Antiquarian Book FairAs the only international antiquarian and collectible book fair in Canada, the 2011 TIABF will bring booksellers and bibliophiles together for a three day event. Among the exhibitors will be many of the top Canadian antiquarian booksellers and an outstanding group of their international colleagues from Europe and North America. They will bring a wide ranging selection of books, maps, prints and manuscripts for your perusal and purchase–including travel and exploration; natural history, science and technology; children’s and illustrated; fine press and limited editions; modern first editions and signed volumes; antiquarian and incunabula; as well as interesting and unusual books of all kinds. Sponsored by the Antiquarian Bookseller’s Association of Canada. It will be held at the Metro Convention Centre, Toronto, Ontario. Details.

Toronto Antiquarian Fair revived, set for Oct. 29

After a 25 year hiatus, this sizable book fair returns October 29, 30, and 31. A good contingent of exhibitors has already been signed up, including many from the US and Canada and a sprinkling from Europe. The whole story is here.
