A New Site for Horton Tank Graphics

Art Larson has just published a new site showcasing his work as a letterpress printer in Hadley, Massachusetts. Art began his printing career in 1979, working with Harold McGrath and Barry Moser at the Hampshire Typothetae in Northampton, Massachusetts. From 1984 through 1987, he worked with Dan Keleher at Wild Carrot Letterpress before establishing his own shop, Horton Tank Graphics, in 1987.

Since then he’s printed 30(!) editions for Leonard Baskin’s Gehenna Press, and dozens more for The Limited Editions Club, Pennyroyal PressELM Press, Wiesedruck, and  Double Elephant Press. Art specializes in composing insanely complicated pages (see the Gehenna Icones Librorum) and insanely complicated damp printing. A New Site for Sarah Creighton, Bookbinder

Sarah Creighton has just published a new site showcasing her work as a bookbinder for the last twenty-seven years. Sarah trained with Arno Werner and David Bourbeau, and went on to work with Gray Parrot and Hugo Peller before establishing her own bindery in 1982. Since then she’s bound editions for The Limited Editions Club, Pennyroyal Press (including the Pennyroyal-Caxton Bible), Warwick PressKat Ran Press21st EditionsELM Press, and Chelonidae Press.
